Objective: The primary aim of this study was to determine the incidence and anatomical location of injuries to amateur and professional breakers in France. The secondary aims were to research the risk factor of such injuries and describe particularly the mechanisms of injuries to the wrist. Method: 94 dancers were interviewed either during competitions or via the internet by means of a two-part questionnaire. The first part was a self-administered questionnaire, the second part was a structured interview. Results: There was an incidence of 2,25 injuries per 1000 hours of exposure.
