This project will explore the presence of witchcraft in early modern Europe. It will also include the analysis of several primary and secondary sources to establish the ideology and practices of witchcraft in the early modern period of European history. There will be some medieval history to support the growth of the disbelief of witches and witchcraft with the introduction of the Enlightenment period in Europe. The conclusion of this project will expand on how the Enlightenment dissolved the belief of witchcraft and how witchcraft made a resurgence in a more modern era
