The aim was to establish the long-term sustainability of the Disability Rights Promotion International (DRPI) methodology for monitoring disability rights activities in Canada and Low Middle-Income Countries (LMICs). A new online platform includes a training course that equips persons with disabilities with the research skills and tools to conduct a disability rights monitoring project. Participants were enthusiastic about the value and potential of the online platform for supporting and broadening disability rights monitoring in each region. The pilot training also supported building regional capacity and networks
