The research dealt with the impact of the work environment on the development of the performance of workers in institutions. The problem of research was the weakness of the material and human resources necessary for the Sudanese institutions to play their fundamental role in creating an appropriate working environment for the workers. Lack of attention to the development of the work environment in the institutions leads to reduced organizational effectiveness and thus leads to a decrease in job performance as a result of the worker feeling frustrated in the environment that does not encourage the effort. The aim of the research is to know the impact of the work environment on developing the performance of the employees, the knowledge of the impact of the physical work environment on the development of the performance of the employees. The research hypotheses were that there is a statistically significant relation between the physical work environment and performance improvement. There is a statistically significant relationship between leadership style and performance improvement. There is a statistically significant relationship between organizational structure and performance improvement.
