Im Laufe der vorliegenden Arbeit werden die Unterschiede des Risswachstumsverhalten von geschweißten Proben und Grundmaterial untersucht. Als Messmethoden für die Untersuchung des Rissfortschrittes dient die Direct Current Potential Drop-Methode, Dehnmessstreifen und Rastlinien. Die Materialien werden in Form von Middle Tension-Proben bei verschiedenen Lastniveaus mit einem Kraftverhältnis von 0,1 und einer Frequenz von 33 Hz zyklische belastet. Auf Grundlage der Testergebnisse wird die Direct Current Potential Drop mit der Johnson-Formel kalibriert und anschließend mit den Ergebnissen der Dehnmessstreifen und Rastlinien verglichen.
