When discussing the quality of education, issues often arise related to laborand teachers’ salaries which, in turn, raises the issue of the educationalfinancing. In this way, in order to discuss the relationship between teachersalaries, financing and quality of basic education in Brazil, this paperpresents results of a bibliographic documentary survey that having as theanalyses corpus educational and economic studies and documents relatedto teachers’ salaries produced by international organizations like the WorldBank and UNESCO.
