Futurism and expressionism in czech avant-garde literature of 10th - 20th years of 20. century.

The aim of this thesis is to point out the most reasonable features of futuristic and expressionistic avant-garde art and to find out their influence on the Czech literature according to the period of the 10s and 20s of the 20th century. The main themes of futuristic expressionistic streams are described through selected fiction works of Czech writers, sculptors and painters; through newspaper articles and excerpts from literary work. The research of artistic motives and philosophical connections within these two avant-garde streams is based on selected belletristic Czech works.
