Einsatz und Auswirkungen von Zeitarbeit - Empirische Evidenz für Deutschland

This dissertation titled "Use and Effects of Temporary Agency Work - Empirical Evidence in Germany" is dealing with the employment form of temporary agency work. The analyzes enable a deeper understanding of temporary agency works´ circumstances and design and its effects. There is consideration of determinants of an employment in temporary agency work as well as its effects on the temporary agency worker. An exclusive dataset from one of the biggest german temporary work agency including information about 12,000 temporary agency workers of the years 2007 till 2011 makes it possible to carry out analyzes that have never been carried out before. The results are supplemented by further panel data analyzes out of the perspective of employer and employee in the temporary agency work business. There is analyzes about the employment structure, the perceived job satisfaction and life satisfaction of the temporary agency workers as well as their motivation. Furthermore the thesis gives information about possible stepping-stone-effects into regular employment. Finally the thesis is giving findings about the companies using temporary agency work
