New and innovative strategies for the control of room temperature in heating systems need to be developed to reduce the high energy consumption for the heat supply in german households. For this purpose this thesis describes a test bench that reproduces the hydraulic network of a flat including the heat supply for the rooms on a laboratory scale. The challenge is to reproduce the dynamic behaviour of the room temperature variations in controlled and time variant boundary conditions.For the realistic reproduction of the operating behaviour the radiators and control valves under test are installed in the test bench as hardware.
