Research Councils UK (RCUK) launched its call for evidence in Open Access Review 17 July 2014. In this report we provide evidence of the effectiveness and impact of the RCUK policy with regard to our main role as an HEI. We make some comments on the effect of the policy on different disciplines, and provide some detailed observations on the internal processes within our institution and the practicalities of administering the RCUK block grant.
