Work produced as part of an inter-disciplinary collaboration project first established during a research period in Japan investigating traditional and contemporary Japanese Ikebana practice. I was selected to present a collaborative installation with Chisen Furukawa, a Tokyo based artist and Ikebana Sensei. (www1.ttcn.ne.jp/~chisen/index.htm). Projects were supported by the Arts Council, The Daiwa Foundation and the Crafts Council. This exhibition explored the interface between the ceramic object, architecture and the natural environment.
