Ingenieurmodelle zum Tragverhalten von textilbewehrtem Beton

Textile reinforced concrete is a composite building material consisting of a fine-grained concrete and a textile reinforcement predominantly made of AR-glassfibers or carbonfibers. As a result of its material characteristics the textile reinforcement combines the advantages of corrosion resistance and an effective and economic positioning in the cross-section of the structural component. The precondition for the success of textile reinforced concrete is the availability of design models and construction rules, which enable the production of durable and sustainable elements. The intention of this thesis is the development of models, which enable the realistic mechanical description of the load-bearing behaviour of textile reinforced concrete components under tension, bending and shear loading. For this purpose experimental and theoretical investigations are presented in which the effects of significant parameters of the material characteristics and the loading situations are surveyed. This work contributes to the development of a consistent design concept for textile reinforced concrete components within the Collaborative Research Centre 532, which has been installed at the RWTH Aachen University by the German Research Foundation (DFG) in 1999.The dissertation starts with a general survey of the characteristics of the material components of textile reinforced concrete and a summary of existing design models. The influences of the reinforcements’ characteristics, reinforcement direction, cyclic loading and biaxial loading on the load-bearing behaviour were examined in systematic experimental investigations and are described in this work. The analysis of the tensile load bearing behaviour includes numerical simulations with the Two-Subroving-Model and the check of the adaptability of analytical models. The results are the basis of an own analytical model for the description of the tensile load-bearing behaviour of textile reinforced concrete components with different reinforcement properties. The bending and shear capacity were tested on beams. Within these test series, significant parameters as e.g. the characteristics and the amount of the textile reinforcement as well as additional normal loading and the shear slenderness were considered and their effect was identified.The results of the investigations were used for the development of models for the calculation of the tensile strength, bending and shear capacity of textile reinforced components. The models describe the average load-bearing behaviour with good accuracy. The applicability is demonstrated by prototypical realizations of textile reinforced concrete façade elements, a rhombic lattice girder and a hollow core slab element
