V předkládané diplomové práci, je zkoumán vliv iontů hliníku přidaných v různých koncentracích do struktury hydroxidu nikelnatého, který v dnešní době tvoří základ aktivní hmoty kladné elektrody Ni-Cd akumulátorů. Hydroxid nikelnatý se vyskytuje ve dvou základních modifikacích ? a ß. Dnes používaná ß modifikace dosahuje v porovnání s ? modifikací malé měrné kapacity. Nevýhodou ? modifikace je její nestabilita a postupná degradace na modifikaci ß.
