Recent growth in Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) across educationallevels in Portugal has positioned it in European Commission reports (Eurydice 2012; 2017) andattracted much needed attention to the educational practice which warrants further in-depthexploration in order to better understand it and ensure quality provision in the country.
