The present study aimed to develop and test a brief training program on LGB competencies for counselors and clinical psychologists (N = 20). Pre- and post-training assessment of LGBT competencies was conducted though a written case vignette, and in addition a focus group was conducted as follow-up of the training two months later. Results revealed (1) quantitative and qualitative changes in the ability of participants to respond to a case after the training and (2) reported changes included impacts on personal and social lives of the clinicians at follow-up, beyond their clinical practice. However, subtle pathologization was also found and more need for supervision on LGB-related issues.info:eu-repo/semantics/acceptedVersio
