The literature review shows that little is known about the relationship between how organizations are managed through human resource management practices and employee well-being at work. What is known is also inconclusive and inconsistent. In order to contribute to this field, this research focuses on the study of the relationship between perceptions of human resource management practices and well-being at work. 856 police officers were questioned through a survey to measure their perceptions of five human resource management practices (training, communication, performance appraisal, health promotion, and opportunity to participate) and well-being at work based on Warr's perspective (1990).
