The goal of this project is to build a new fluid sampler for the Centro de Estudo de Aguas of ISEP. This is an independent lab that performs water analysis, including ´ industrial waste waters. The fluid sampler has to work autonomously and be capable of collecting the specified fluid volumes at the configured frequency. The budget for building the prototype is 300 e. This dissertation provides, first, an overview of similar fluid sampler devices currently available on the market as well as of the relevant guidelines and regulations regarding waste water sampling in Portugal.
