Educational components of imprisonment

Thesis deals with the process correcting the prisoners. Firstly, the readers are given the brief information of the present-day prison system. The thesis also characterises various educational functional components of the punishment including the resocialization, rehabilitation, re-education and many others. The correcting process also focuses on some specific groups of the imprisoned as well as the standardized treatment programs, which are common in present-day prison practise. According to the conception of the Czech imprisonment, which also contributes to the current status of the prison system, the importance and aims are described in detail
