Cost-benefit analysis of the selected road bypass project in transport infrastructure in Náchod´s disctrict.

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the costs and benefits of a transport project. Its goal is to find out the final impact of the project on the development of the region and what was its effectiveness. I have chosen following factors for analysis namely: accident frequency, fuel consumption, CO2 emissions from motor vehicles and time. The work is divided into three parts. The first part is theoretical. First part discusses the importance and effects of transport infrastructure on regional development. It is based mainly on the practical study of transport projects in different countries around the world. In addition, there are presented selected types of project analysis including different approaches. The methodology of work is descripted in the second part of the thesis, basic principles of cost -benefit analysis with calculation. In the practical part of the thesis there are presented factors and input data for calculations. All data are obtained from ČSÚ website or from my own measurements.
