Legal aspects of cultural heritage protection

The subject of the thesis is to analyze the current legal framework for protection of cultural monuments. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part deals with concepts, development of conservation in our country, the organizational structure of the state monument care, individual institutes for protection of cultural and national cultural heritage in our state, conservation funding and the problems associated with it. Gaps of current legislation are pointed out in the chapters. In the practical part I apply gathered knowledge to specific national monument, the old wastewater treatment plant in Bubeneč
