Management problems of Prague representative children choirs

The dissertation work deals with analysis of two of the Prague children choirs: The Czech Broadcast Utility Children Choir ("Dětský pěvecký sbor Českého rozhlasu) and the Kuhn's Children Choir (Kuhnuv dětský sbor). The main object of this dissertation work is to assess activities of these two specific entities. These two of the choirs are compared within the field of their artistic activities, management organization, their marketing performance and funding of their activities. This dissertation work furthermore looks into general problems of non-profitable entities existence, analysis of the Prague children choir setting as well as choir festivals held in Czech Republic. In conclusions of turn my orientation, by means of a questionnaire survey, onto the public's relation to music, choir singing perception as a way of leisure time activity, parents'preferences when selecting choirs for their children and the public's awareness of individual choirs as well as their choir leaders
