My bachelor thesis deals with the phenomenon of globalization and its impact on Škoda Auto, plc. The aim of my thesis is to evaluate the globalization trend of Škoda Auto reflected in its strategy and determine its further development on the most important markets for automobile. The first part of the thesis explains basic terms of globalization and its development in time. I also state the causes and consequences in the context of automobile industry and the changes in its arrangement. The practical part analyzes Škoda Autos activities and focuses on the most important milestones in the history of the brand. The final part of my thesis deals with the strategy of Škoda Auto in globalization period
