This thesis deals with two factors that worsened the relations between Turkey and Armenia. The aim of this work is their analysis. The first serious factor is the events from the times of WWI committed by the Ottoman Empire on the Armenian population, known as the Armenian genocide, which Turkey denies almost one hundred years. Armenians demand an official recognition of genocide from Turkey. The second issue is the border between Turkey and Armenia which was closed in response to the Armenian aggression on the territory of Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.
