The projection of soft power and public diplomacy of People's Republic of China is the topic of this thesis. It analyses the topic in general and shows only selected content for better understanding of the soft power projection. The first chapter represents theoretical concepts for the terms soft power and public diplomacy and defines it. The second chapter analyses some of the strategy and instruments of Chinese soft power and public diplomacy. The third chapter briefly introduces the projection of Chinese soft power to the selected regions, Africa, Europe and South East and East Asia
