This work is refers to information systems that are used in the context of the corporate environment. The first section explains the basic concepts which are relating to this issue. In the next step are stated and zoomed basic divisions, followed by a more detailed description of selected information systems. From a practical standpoint, the work is focused on the transition from one ERP system to another one, describes challenges, but also the advantages of this process
