The topic of the thesis is to emphasize the importance of marketing in non-profit sector. The theoretical part deals with marketing principles and their using in non-profit organizations. The practical part of the thesis is focused on evaluation and comparison of marketing and communication strategies in two non-profit organizations that are situated in Třebíč and provide social services for mentally handicapped people. At the end of the thesis I have suggested some improvements in marketing of these organizations
