Balance of payments of Germany

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the development of the balance of payments of the Federal Republic of Germany in the years 1999-2012. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and the practical part and contains three chapters. In the first chapter, the balance of payments and external economic balance are characterized in general. The second chapter deals with the development of Germany's balance of payments, which is analyzed on the basis of the development of its accounts during the reporting period. The last chapter focuses on the appraisal of the external economic balance of the Federal Republic through different balances, the international investment position and the external debt
