This thesis deals with the prepared standards HTML 5 markup language for web pages and CSS 3 Cascading Style Sheets. The final specifications of these two languages isn't planned before the end of 2014, but it already appear in the practical use of the site. The aim of this thesis is to explore new options and features of HTML 5 and CSS3 compared to the current version of HTML 4.01 and CSS2, based on then summarize their advantages, which are currently possible in the creation of Web use. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts.
