The benefits of enterprise social networks for internal communication

This thesis focuses on the contribution of enterprise social networking services to the internal communication. The thesis opens with definition of internal communication and next there are specified its goals and trends. Furthermore, the paper characterizes the enterprise social network as for what it actually is and how it differs from public social network. A number of corporate social networks are specified along with their characteristics. The practical part is based on a field survey which explores the problems in the internal communication. Based on the questionnaire results, solutions for mentioned problems are proposed and discussed
