Position of Slovak Republic in the world economy

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the rank of Slovakia within world economy's scope on the basis of outcomes resulting from international competitiveness yearbooks and also on basis of macroeconomic indicators. The bachelor thesis is divided into three stages, where the introductory part focuses on definition of competitiveness and structure of index. The second part deals with the competitiveness of Slovak republic and it 's position on competitiveness yearbooks. In the last chapter is processed the comparison between Slovak republic and the countries of The Visegrad Group
