Petroleum industry of South Sudan as a factor influencing current events in South Sudan and relations between Sudan and South Sudan

Petroleum is one of the most important commodities traded on the international markets. World oil reserves are limited and therefore becoming increasingly important. Sudan and South Sudan control the sixth highest African oil reserves. However, both states have to face a number of problems which the petroleum industry brings. The bachelor project primarily focuses on South Sudan and its petroleum industry. The aim of the project is to describe how the petroleum industry of South Sudan influences the current events in South Sudan and the relations between Sudan and South Sudan
