European integration and economic development of the Visegrad group after joining the European union

The main object of this work is to give a compact insight into development of economical indices of the Visegrad Group after the European union expansion in 2004 and the impact of the EU on this development. Theoretical part gives the information about history of European integration and a process of the biggest EU expansion so far. Practical part is engaging in economical situation of the Visegrad group before joining European union and in the development of the economic indices until the year 2014. Result of the EU expansion is the positive impact on the economic situation of the Visegrad group. Some aspects are affected more than others. But EU is definitely one of the main reasons which positively affected economic development of the Visegrad group
