The main objective of this Diploma Thesis is to evaluate economic performance of the company TOS VARNSDORF a.s. during the period 2008 -- 2013. The theoretical section provides a general definition of the methods of economic analysis especially those used for strategic and financial analysis. The practical part includes a basic description of the company and application of methods introduced in theoretical section, notably the PEST analysis, Porter's five forces analysis, SWOT analysis, horizontal and vertical analysis of financial statements, ratio analysis including economic value added and prediction models
