Možnosti měření ekonomického rozvoje a blahobytu

This bachelor thesis examines possibilities of measuring economic development and welfare. It characterizes the main economic indicator, which is gross domestic product and describes its significant drawbacks. This bachelor thesis systematizes alternative indicators used in measuring economic development and welfare. The relationship to GDP was modelled for four previously chosen alternative indicators by means of correlation, regression and cluster analysis. In conclusion, important results of this thesis are summarized and compared with results of previously pub-lished studies
