This bachelor thesis deals with children's room making. There are describes developmental stages of childhood that affect their needs and requirements for functional zones and furniture. It is focused on ergonomics, safety and hygienic requirements, materials, coloring and lighting and other elements forming the atmosphere of the children's room. The thesis also concentrates on siblings living in one room, their relationships and requirements for making a shared room. These pieces of knowledge are employed in the assessment of the state of the real children's room and in suitable layout
