Privátní rezervace jako nástroj managementu krajiny a ochrany přírody v západním Ekvádoru

This bachelor thesis focuses on private reserves in Western Ecuador. Historical destruction of forests within this region and the raise of private iniciatives as a new tool in nature conservation is described in review of literature. The survey of existed private reserves was carried out and results are shown in graphs in quantitative part. Two representative reserves were chosen and the creation, management, main activities and their fundings were described in qualitative part. Than, conclusions and recomendations for future reserves were made out and the map of private reserves was created
