Návrh renovace povrchové úpravy historických oken

The topic of this diploma thesis is to design renovation of surface finishes and protection of window constructions which are part of one of the castle buildings in Letovice. The main idea is to highlight the importance of preserving the original joinery products in buildings with historical value. In this work is carried out an operative exploration in simplified documentation of the historical window opening. Furthermore, technological process of renovation, tests of used finishing systems and evaluation of a more appropriate finishing system for the particular application were performed. This study may help the property owner in deciding how to proceed in further reconstruction of historical buildings
