Evaluation of potentional social-economical development of the Local Action Group in area of Poličsko

This bachelor thesis deals in the theoretical part with the issues related to regional development, strategic planning, and the Rural Development Pro-gramme (RDP) in connection to the activities of Local Action Groups (LAGs). Next, the study analyzed and evaluated the situation and develop-ments in the socio-economic area within the scope of activity of the LAG Association for Development of the area of Poličsko. LAG strategy for the next planning period of 2014 - 2020 was defined using the SWOT analysis and statistical evaluation of results obtained from the questionnaire survey. Based on the results obtained from this study, recommendations for prac-tice, namely for the LAG Association for Development of the area of Poliřsko, were designed that could be used in preparation of the Strategic Development Plan. This Plan is crucial for possible obtaining subsidies from the RDP
