This article tries to generally summarize questions about Apple Proliferation Phytoplasma and how the phytoplasma is transfered. Especially the morphology and bionomy of insect vectors are described. The Apple Proliferation is significant disease caused by Candidatus Phytoplasma mali. Usually the apple trees are affected by the disease. The sensitivity and reaction of each variety and rootstock are different. The symptoms of disease can be very variable and the disease changes to its latent phase very often.
