Add to ORKGDiploma thesis "Gravel Garden" deals with the problematics of construction and working of gravel gardens as one of contemporary trends in designing private gardens according to the principles of natural plant communities. Literary part of the thesis provides a definition of "gravel garden" and refers about principles of design, construction technologies, characteristics of mineral materials and plants for use in gravel gardens. That is shown by the representative examples of implementation in the Czech republic and abroad. The thesis also presents the possibility of using technologies in the future. Knowledge is applied in the design of the model object of private garden with show gardens of family nursery in the village of Dub nad Moravou
