Independent living in old age

The bachelor thesis examines the topic "Independent living in old age" and is focused on seniors living independently in their home environment. The aim of the thesis is to determine how seniors aged 65 and over, living in separate households, perceive, evaluate and experience the life stage of old age, the activities they are engaged in, what kind of social support they can find in their surroundings, and whether they are aware of and use available social services for seniors. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts related to the topic. The practical part is devoted to the research, which was conducted through a semi-structured interview and a questionnaire.
