Students' slang in the Québec French - formal and semantic analysis

The theme of this bachelor thesis is Students' slang in the Quebec French - formal and semantic analysis. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on the history of Quebec French and on the major differences between French used in France and French used in Quebec. It also contains definition of the most important linguistic terminology used later in analysing the Quebec slang. In the practical part you can find the research of students' slang in Quebec. There is also a complete corpus of expressions used which contains a comparison with French from France and suggestions of Czech translation. The thesis is completed with a French-Czech glossary
