Willy Brandt and the German reunification

This thesis deals with Willy Brandt, his political activity and with the process of the German reunification. It describes Willy Brandt's politics during the division of Germany, his foreign policy as a federal Chancellor and the influence of his approach of the Eastern Bloc on the later reunification. It also deals with relations between the Federal Republic of Germany and the German Democratic Republic, since their division to their reunification and with single phases of the whole unification process. At the end it evaluates economic and social impacts of the reunification
