Communication of mothers on the Internet

This bachelor thesis is focused on the collection of specific expressions and linguistic styles which are used by mothers on Internet forums. The bachelor thesis aims to create a kind of dictionary of maternal expressions on the Internet and also draw attention to other specifics of a mother´s speech. The first part of this work outlines the theoretical basis for the work and also the issue of slang in general. The practical part is based on data collected from various Internet portals and then categorized into thematic areas which follow the chronological development of the foetus and then a small child. The appendix includes a list of emoticons and an expanded list of abbreviations used in maternal debates, which are taken from a pregnancy card
