Závislost technické vzdělanosti obyvatelstva a míry nezaměstnanosti

This thesis deals with the unemployment dependent on the technical education of the population of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the labour market as the unemployment results from the imperfection of the la-bour market. Human capital and education as a part of human capital are de-scribed. The practical part analyses the unemployment in the Czech Republic be-tween the years 2000 and 2013. The analysed data are taken from the Labour Force Sample Survey carried out by the Czech Statistical Office. The overall devel-opment of unemployment and the structure of the unemployed are examined from the point of view of the level of education achieved and the subject of study. The development of the technical education in the Czech Republic between the years 2000 and 2010 is examined as well. Correlation analysis is performed, the analysis does not validate the hypothesis that the unemployment is dependent on the amount of technically educated inhabitants
