The bachelor thesis analyzes the reproductive characteristics of sows and factors which significantly influence their level. It also deals with diseases invading the pigs breeding, including losses which are caused by these diseases. The most important diseases are characterized in it. The conclusion is focused on the ways of recovery pig breeding and on preventive tools which help to effectively eliminate the risk of disease
