ABSTRACT Name: Jana Endlicherová Title: Development of rural tourism as a part of complex tourist industry on the example Veverská Bítýška The bachelor thesis deals with evaluation current situation of rural tourism in Veverská Bítýška and it's further development. Veverská Bítýška is situated in South Moravia, about 20 kilometres from the Brno city. In the first part of this thesis the tourist industry and rural tourism are defined as a still developing important economic sector. The main part describes the small town Veverská Bítýška and it's cultural and natural conditions, traffic, accommodation, nourishment, passing routes and possibilities in the nearest surrounding. The last part of the thesis is formed with results of personally holded interviews and from a questionnaire. The assessment is made by simple description and graphical outputs
