My diploma work deals with the dining tables issue. The objective is to establish cooperation with appropriate companies engaged in manufacturing of furniture and then propose the design in line with defined business requirements. The theoretical part deals with the typology table furniture, its history, the requirements imposed on this type of furniture and typological survey of the current state of the market. The practical part describes technological opportunities of a selected company and dinner table design. Process prototyping, assembling and final costing follows accordingly
