The thesis begins with a description ofthe office workplace in general, its historical development, classification and furnishing. Following this, there is a review of a few selected office furnishings and a statement of the technical and safety requirements. The work finishes with the main section, which concerns the actual design of a top manager's office table, with technical drawings and a calculation of the material and costs
