Šimara, J. Key factors in the performance of enterprises in the meat industry. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2014. This thesis deals with the identification of key performance factors of enterprises in the meat industry and the subsequent draft recommendations for improvement to the condition. To meet the main goals of this work the comparison of two businesses and the industry was selected. The work is divided into two parts. The first part is a literature review that provides the theoretical background of the chosen topic. The second part is own work, where using of financial analysis, model EVA entity, sensitivity and correlation analysis identifies and analyzes key performance factors of selected enterprises and the results are compared with the industry. This part ends with a discussion of relevant draft recommendation to increase a performance and competitiveness of the analyzed enterprises
